Tenants to a landlords property in Daventry recently moved out and the house required some minor refurbishment and a freshen up to the walls. Once again our Landlord Services Decorating Daventry were recommended by Chelton Brown , a letting agent client to assist the landlord in brightening up the property with a fresh coat of paint.
A wardrobe was removed from one of the bedrooms and some making good made, so when we painted the walls it would blend in with the rest of the room. In addition the out dated wall paper was stripped from the downstairs W/C and entrance hall, mouldy sealant stripped from around the doors and re caulked prior to making good and painting. When stripping wall paper you need to ensure the adhesive is properly removed from the walls before decorating, if not the paint will crack and you will have an eggshell cracking effect on the walls. The walls need to be washed down and once dry sanded down in preparation for painting. Take a look at some of the before pictures below:
The property was in fairly good condition so only required freshening up ready for the new tenants. Therefore we only painted the ceilings in the WC and entrance hall, masked up the woodwork so we could paint the walls and get nice straight tight lines. Once the property was completed the landlord inspected the property and any minor snags or issues he had were addressed and dealt with immediately, we appreciate the value of good customer service and the necessity for the landlord to get a quick return on their investment.
When we carry out a full redecoration for a client we offer FREE carpet cleaning throughout the property, we think this differentiates us from our competition plus ensures the property is in top condition ready for potential viewings. Take a look at the below pictures once we completed the decorating.
